I witnessed many of the rude old ladies behind the counter try to scare tourists by demanding to see their products and securing them in a plastic bag—saying something bad will happen to them if they don’t secure their goods. Stop scaring tourists. It is abusive and deceitful. Yes, do your job but don’t abuse whatever sense of authority you think you have. The tourist have the money to buy the product and support your failing economy. You are wearing a department uniform; you are not the President or anybody important. Know your place. 客がいるのもおかまいなし。延々と大声で誰かの悪口噂話をしている店員がいました。
