西なぎさでは徒歩での砂浜の散策や遊泳可能にするために、砂浜の貝殻や牡蠣殻（足のけがの原因となる）を手で除去したり、遊泳中の大けがの原因になる
干潮時は貝や蟹を取る干潟遊び、満潮時には遊泳など楽しみ方も多数あり、東京都内で海水浴ができる場所として、このなぎさは特筆すべき場所で、訪問に
