    12月上旬に宿泊させて頂きました。お部屋は隅々まで清潔感に溢れ、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。中庭の日本庭園から自然を感じながらリラックスで

    お料理は美味しいし、リニューアルされた室内はよく、通常であれば星4つ以上付けるのだけど、今回は2つ。
    お料理とか他が悪ければ星もつけなかったと思う。
    その理由は、領収書に印字ミスがあり、訂正して再度発行をお願いしたら断られた。
    その理由が、クレジット決済なので、本来領収書はクレジット会社が発行するもので、自分達には発行義務がないと言い出したこと。
    でも印字ミスの領収書はこちらが発行してますよね？といっても態度を変えないので呆れてしまった。

      今回のご指摘頂いた件につきまして、お客様に大変不愉快な思いをさせてしまいました事、深くお詫び申し上げます。

      領収書の誤字訂正はもちろんの事、接客態度そのものに大きな問題がございます。
      施設規模の小さな宿ではございますが、数名のスタッフが従事しており、担当スタッフには注意並びに指導を致しました。
      わたくし共々深く反省しております。

      本来お客様には、寛ぎ、楽しみ、喜んで頂く事こそが本望と思い始めた事業でございます。
      心入れ替え精進してまいります。

      最後にお料理、施設等をお褒め頂いた事、又ご投稿頂いたことに感謝申し上げます。

    Loved it. Room was beautiful, beds were comfortable, food was absolutely delicious, both dinner and breakfast. There was also a lounge room with a beautiful Japanese garden. The owners were very nice and friendly, told us many stories and gave great tips. Would definitely recommend this place (although I'm not sure about the ease of staying here if you don't speak Japanese)

    it is a good inn that is located in one of the best places at Miyajima. rooms are ok an all renewed. it has one of the best bed I enjoyed in old Japanese inn, and the food is very good.
    it has a light under the bed to not to fall down yet, kimono or any clothes are hidden under the sink so you have to be aware.

    料理も美味しくアットホームな感じです。

    建物もすき家を意識して作っており、おもむきもあって、落ち着く感じです。

    フェリー乗り場からも近く、宮島観光にはもってこいだと思います。

    リニューアルしたばかりらしく、お部屋に入るドアを開けたら桧の良い香り、桧で作ったお風呂、天井もこだわりが感じるお部屋でした。
    料理もいっぺんに出すのではなく、食べるペースに合わせて一皿ずつ。
    どの料理も大変美味しく、もちろん、お酒も美味しく頂ました。
    寝具も畳の上に直接敷くのではなく、マットレスの上にお布団で、とても気持ち良く寝ることが出来ました。

    We had a perfect stay at Kikugawa — the only thing we would have changed would have been only being there for one night! The guesthouse is beautiful, the perfect combination of traditional Japanese architecture and design and modern simplicity. I could have spent hours in the salon overlooking the garden. The bedroom was equally great, blending the traditional Japanese ryokan style with a western-style mattress for comfort. Amenities in the room were also very good.     This was truly a very nice guesthouse. Everything was nice clean. Staff was very helpful and can help you since they speak a little English. Room was big and the room we had, had a bathroom which was some kind of private onsen. I wonder why booking classified this a 2 star. Should have been at least a 3 star. We had the Japanese breakfast and that was very nice. We were glad we did not choose for the western style. So if you book a room here, go for the Japanese breakfast. You will not regr … – show

    Very nice guesthouse with friendly staff and a western breakfast. The room was beautifully appointed. The only downside was the loft beds (not in all rooms) which I would not recommend for anyone with children or people who tend to get up in the night as the barrier is low (seems possible you you could stumble over it in the night) and the ladder up there is very precarious. It's very nice to spend a night on Miyajima after the daytrippers have gone and I'd recommend this place.

    Small cozy Japanese style inn (Ryokan) near jetty, with breakfast and dinner included. Service is good, and host showed traditional Japanese courtesy, with thanks and repeated bows as we walked down to the jetty till out of sight. Great experience for foreign visitors to Miyajima.
