We travelled as a family of 4 including 2 children. The stay was amazing, room — exceptionally clean and comfortable. Top location. A+

Just three rooms, with one being a tatami room (with a kotatsu!). Located behind the Omote Sando shopping street, it's a convenient alternative to the main hotel of the Island. Very close to Itsukushima-Jinja.

Location is nice in a quiet residential area. The ryokan is probably around 0.6 to 0.7 mile from the JR ferry with some very narrow shortcuts. So it is best for people who travel light. Rooms are nice and clean despite being a bit dated. Nothing fancy but everything works which is great for price paid. Service is excellent. Nothing to complain about.

Owner is very nice and friendly. It's very much like having a home stay. It was a bit challenging to find the ryokan but it's really not too far from the shrine or where the activities are. Owner speaks good English and provided a lot of useful information in English. Breakfast is home style, tasty and healthy. Price is reasonable for the location on a Saturday night. We booked at the last minute and are really glad we could find a nice and clean home away from home.

This truly is a marvel. The staff is extremely helpful, very friendly and soaks English very well. The location of the place could not be better. The beds are comfortable and the shared bathroom is large and easily accessible. The breakfast is tasty and you can have coffee and tea in the off hours.
Being on a small island, the is nothing much to do, so the curfew of midnight is totally sufficient. Seeing the great Tori at night certainly is worth to stay.
There really is something special and pe aceful about this island I can only recommend to experience.

The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly, going above and beyond for all queries I had and spoke excellent English. For example; my phone charger broke, it was late and I needed to cross back to the mainland to buy a new one from a 7Eleven. The owner went ahead and called the store to check that they had what I needed, even though I was just going to wing it, and then approached me when I was leaving with ferry times to ensure I didn't miss the last ferry back. Thoughtful service! Stayin g on Miyajima is lovely, and this BnB offers all you could need and is 30 seconds from the main shopping district.
