    神宝大橋(東久留米市と新座市の境)から望む黒目川(右側)と落合川(左側)合流点付近にある下谷公園。

    静かで落ち着ける。
    時々、ギター弾きながら歌ってる若者がいるのだが、これがギターは初心者で、歌は音痴で聞き苦しくてたまらん。

    公園と呼ぶにはベンチとテーブルが数組あるだけで真ん中は砂利敷きになっており日除けになる構造物は無いので夏は暑いしベンチに座る気にはなれない。

    黒目川沿いにある、橋を渡り、階段を上がった所にある体育館ぐらいの公園。真ん中が砂地で、ベンチ6つが囲い、テーブルと椅子のセットが2つもある。
