    [Very English Friendly] The location is a bit difficult to find; you’ll walk through the glass front doors of a very inconspicuous building right next to a large printing shop. Walk confidently to the elevators and queue to go up to the third floor. Prestia doesn’t have the same number of benefits as SMBC (main branch) but it’s extremely foreigner friendly! If you don’t have an appointment, perhaps someone is available to help. The office is clean, tidy and comfortable though small. Be prepared … – show

    Akasaka Prestia branch. The staff are so helpful, and they have perfect English — there is a native English speaker who works here, as well as many Japanese staff with excellent English. They are always so considerate and helpful, and are much more flexible and understanding than my experience of other banks in Japan.

    I highly recommend Prestia (owned by SMBC) as a bank, and this branch in particular!
