This was the only time I felt like I was flying and I couldn’t feel anything. I have never felt this kind of relax ever and I did here. I really wish I can bring this place home with me. The price is very reasonable. At the end of our session they offered us some tea and juice and some nice shampoo to bring back home! Absolutely love his place.

I watched a video on Japanese head spas years ago, and couldn't find anything in my country that remotely came close to the service or experience. When I knew I was going to Japan, I immediately started researching spas.
It took a while, but I eventually found Spa Hinoki. I love that they are English friendly (even though they aren't fluent in it). I don't speak any Japanese, but had no issues communicating with them via emai l prior. You send them a message, listing what service you're looking for, and what date/time. They respond in your language and coordinate.
They are located in a nice area of Tokyo (in a quieter neighborhood). Just look for the little white light fixture in front, right off the main alley. The space is serene and peaceful. I was greeted upon arrival and they were so sweet from start to finish! They do note that they don't speak English, but I had zero issues communicating with my hairdresser. She indicates when she needs you to do something (lie back, close your eyes, etc).
And the experience itself was everything I expected -- it was honestly dreamy (yes, a slice of heaven) and the most relaxed I'd been all year! I definitely dozed off at one point. And afterwards the owner walked me out and made sure I wasn't waiting in the rain alone -- she was so sweet and lovely!!

I had an amazing anti-aging facial and shiodhara hair treatment. The three hour long experience was a relaxation heaven with luxurious massage throughout.
If I lived in Tokyo I would be a regular here!!!
I am so grateful that they were willing to accommodate an English speaker. Although no one working was fluent in English, we were able to communicate the basics just fine.

You MUST book in advance. It even says on the door that walk-ins are not welcome. It is expensive, but the treatment was so relaxing I would highly recommend it. … – show
