歴史館内は撮影禁止のため、写真は全て
無料エリア（ゆかしの杜）の物。
港区の古代から現在に至るまでを歴史を
出土品や資料を展示して紹介している。
中でも「海」に関しては埋立の広がりと
環境の変化など多岐にわたる解説だった。
また、江戸時代は幕府（武家）、寺社に
町人と豊富な資料に目を奪われた。
300円（一般）を払う価値は確実にある。

【レベル】：中1には簡単なようでしたが、とても楽しんでいました。

小さいが展示されている資料は多いので
物足りなさを感じることはない。
こちらは「味の素」の社史が中心に紹介
されている。
二代目、鈴木三郎助と池田菊苗の動画の
ナレーションが永井一郎だった。久々に
聞いた声に懐かしさが溢れた。
食文化展示室は江戸以降の歴史を季節に
沿って紹介されている。江戸時代の鮨の
大きさ、花見弁当の豪華さを資格情報で

大人も子供も無料で利用できる、防災・減災を学べる施設です。
予報官の仕事を疑似体験するコーナーや360度体感シアターなどがあり、ただ展示物を見るだけの施設とは違って、楽しく学ぶことができるかと。

１階にあるみなと科学館と合わせてどうぞ。

社会人になってから年に数回、会社を休んで美術館巡りをしていたころ、ここの美術館の存在を全く知らなかった。
この美術館に寄ったのは、迷子になってほんと偶然で見つけて寄ってみた。この頃全くと言っていいほど書というものに興味がなかった時で、このとき井上有一の展覧会だった。今思うと、全く井上有一という書家をしなかったこと自体恥ずかしいのですが、そんなに大きな美術館ではないけど、十二分に見せてもらえた。井上 有一の素晴らしさを教えてくれた私にとっては、本当に感謝しかない。

入館無料で楽しめます。広さは大きなホール１カ所でそれほど広くはありませんが、展示物は充実していました。

高輪地区情報誌「みなとっぷ」に記載が
あるのを確認した（2016年7月30号）。
大久保利和（としなか）が父を弔うため
建立したらしい。
祠に至る道が存在せず、接近は不可能。
説明板も無く、文字通り埋もれている。
