    I recently went on a Shibuya Food tour with Arigato Travel, and it was a unique experience! My guide, Alex, was fantastic. He was highly knowledgeable and provided detailed information about the food and culture of Japan.

    We tried a wide variety of street food, including sushi from a standing sushi bar, okonomiyaki, yakitori, yakiniku, and much more. All the food was delicious!

    We recently did the Shibuya Street Food Tour, what a blast!

    We had such a fun time learning about new foods and proper Japanese etiquette from our tour guide, Hayato (Harry). Hayato was so knowledgeable and very kind. We loved going around Shibuya trying different foods. He also gave us other great tourist tips and pointers for places to visit around tokyo and of course more places to try and eat.     Our family enjoyed our best “Best of Shibuya” and Kyoto Matcha tours more than any food tours I can remember… Our group included travel weary kids (ages 14,18,21) and parents. Our Shibuya guide, Yappy, was a true professional. He shared about the city, the food, a little art and culture, keeping it fun and friendly throughout. The food was delicious and plentiful.     We enjoyed the Shibuya Street Food tour and were lucky enough to have a private tour with Hannah. She was very knowledgeable and took us to some delicious spots! We ate well, I was incredibly full by the end!

    Michie was an incredible guide to our tour and we had an amazing experience tasting and exploring the local cuisine. We also enjoyed the capsule machines and games, I highly recommend going on this tour as it is an excellent and interesting journey to experience.

    We booked the Wine Tasting full day trip to Yamanashi prefecture for our Team Building event with Arigato Travel and we really enjoyed the experience. From the moment they picked us up near Shinjuku station till the moment they dropped us back the service was absolutely 5 stars.     We took this fantastic food tour on or first full day in Tokyo and it turned out to be a great decision! The tour was a great intro to Tokyo and the cuisine/culture. Our guide Haruka was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. She took us to delicious restaurants and food stalls throughout the market and explained customs, traditional foods, types of foods and even Japanese words to say during meals.     Had two tours from Arigato Japan in Tokyo and Osaka during my trip recently. Both guides, Alex (Tokyo) and Ike (Osaka) were friendly, knowledgeable, and took me to venues that I wouldn't have been able to locate myself.
    My only regret was that both tours were on the final nights in their respective cities, so I couldn't spend the following mornings to sleep off the food comas.

    The “Walking Food Tour of Shibuya” was a fantastic introduction some of Japan's most popular and delicious dishes! Alex and Hannah were fabulous guides, and like everyone says, it truly felt like we were out with friends. They taught us so much about traditional eating styles, dining etiquette, food differences between regions, and more about Shibuya and Japan in general.     We took the “Retro Osaka Food” tour through the older South side of the city. Our guide, Ike-san, was excellent throughout. Warm, personable and quite knowledgeable about the various venues we visited. He also introduced us to a cousin of pachinko and we won a prize! Actually, Ike told us that he previously owned and ran an sushi restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts USA! That explains both his excellent English and his expertise in Japanese foods.     Took the Allstar Food Tour with Norma, and it was fantastic! We visited a number of restaurants and had a really good culinary experience tasting various special Japanese dishes.

    We had a food tour with Russ in downtown Osaka, it was amazing! All the food was spectacular and some of the best we ate in Japan. Russ is so fun to talk to and knew loads more about Japan than just the food, with extra knowledge on Shinto Shrines and local landmarks. 100% recommend for anyone who is a bit lost on where to start in the wonderful craziness that is Osaka. Thanks Russ!

    The Shimbashi Hidden Gems tour was awesome!!

    Yappy is a great guide who showed us some of the coolest hidden places in Tokyo. The food and drink was great. The proprietors and customers were charming. The atmosphere was something out of a 1960's movie!

    This was an amazing tour that I would highly recommend, especially for those who want to experience a nostalgic Japan mood.

    We had a wonderful time last night with Micky!! We learned so much from the good tour in Osaka and ate the most amazing dishes. I loved trying new foods and hearing her recommendations. I highly highly recommend if you are coming to Japan to please book a tour with Micky, she was fantastic and showed us little hidden places that we may have never found on our own! So far it was our favorite part of our trip so far. Thank you so much again and def book your tour with her ASAP!!!

    I had the chance to take part in the Zen experience and Culture Tour at “Arigato Travel” and I absolutely LOVED it. Never really done any meditation, and it felt incredibly good. Also, if you are a little artsy and love handicrafts activities, the Culture Tour is top notch!
