I came in the salon, was served very quickly, filling out some online form, had my jacket and bag put away by the staff.
Then the hair stylist I booked came to serve me. She wasn't very friendly, this is the first time I have used the salon and first time this lady is going to cut my hair and dye, I thought she might introduce herself, or ask where I saw the salon, or why I booked her? but no questions, she did not even bring out the book of hair dye samples out until I asked for it, just seemed very can't be bothered, unfriendly and rushing around other people instead. There was not a lot of colours to choose from either, so many colours not available!
The stylist just was not friendly, or try to help or give me any advice, she just stood there waiting for me to tell her what to do, which I did, but it just seemed like she was having a really bad day, and cannot be bothered to explain anything to me.
Anyway, she cut my hair really short, which I asked for but I think her skill of styling isn't very good. The cut is ok. The hair dye was the worst, it just looked really bad, completely not what I wanted, I did not want to make a big deal, so I did not say anything, but she can tell I was not happy with the colour, but didn't do anything about it, did not offer a re-dye, or give me any advice.
I just bought myself a new hair dye home kit, which I will do myself.
I am so disappointed with this salon. I booked weeks ahead, I am not from Japan so when I saw some youtubers channel, they seem good and speak english I thought to try it, but they are so unfriendly, they don't interact with you at all, I was not offered any drink either.
Just so so disappointed, maybe I was over excited and expected more. Or maybe other hair stylists are better. I won't name the person here but I definitely won't be returning. … – show

I came and was quickly sat down and we talked through everything. (Cut & colour)
The staff were super nice and friendly. Instantly offering me something to drink, which was nice in this hot weather.
I got my hair cut, bleached and dyed.
The colour didn't come out the way I had hoped, it's not a new situation though, because I've had this problem with many stylists before, since my hair apparently is a little tricky, with certain colours.
So I wrote an email explaining the situation. They answered quickly and I got an appointment for a correction.
I let the stylists chose the colour which we used, because I think she knows best. And it turned out beautiful. She really did know best.
I'm really happy with the outcome and want to share my appreciation for the salon and especially Natsumi Makino. She is an amazing hair dresser with great talent, knowledge and patience. this transformation meant a lot to me, and thanks to her I am truly happy and grateful for the outcome. She is truly amazing and a master of her craft
Mistakes can happen and it's nothing bad. It's all about how they are being handled. Which is why I loved the way the salon dealt with the situation.
They are a great team of very skilled people that create a nice and inviting atmosphere for the customers. I can only recommend anyone in need of a hairdresser to go and check them out themselves because they are definitly worth a visit. … – show
It's been now the third time I go and I'm always very happy. They're all very nice, they offer a free massage after shampoo.
I usually got a hair cut from Yoshiatsu Iijima, he's very listening and caring. Also, before cutting shorter, he always checks if it's okay, to see if it's not too short which I really appreciate.
I have curly hair and he knows how to take care of it too:)
The staff speaks English also!
