I ended up with Hiro. He is familiar with non-Japanese hair and we talked through the haircut I wanted, which was pretty drastic.
From below the waist hair to a pixie cut length, basically. Hiro also helped me cut my hair to make it ready for donation.
The first few days, I felt insecure about my hair since it was so short and looked so “fresh,” but it just needed time to ‘settle in,’ and now I love it! (My hai rcut was about 3 weeks ago.) He did exactly as I requested, and I would come back again!

I did my nails many time in Sin Den, and I can compare technic with other beauty salon I went before.
Last time I did my gel nail cover, the gel coating was made very thick, after 5 days one nail fell off, gel coating uneven. And it's not the first time ️
I always pay a lot so I want get my nails done professionally.

I finally found a really nice place for my keratin treatment. I have been struggling since 2 years to find a nice English speaking salon that can provide a safe keratin that works on my freezy hair. Well, I found it!! Hiro did my hair, he is talented and obviously familiar with foreigners hair. I usually wait until second wash to see if the keratin suits me. The result is amazing. Natural looking, healthy and smooth hair.
The atmosphere and staff are very nice and welcoming!

First, the salon was very clean, and they took Covid-19 precautions very seriously and I was able to be far away from other clients. Second, my stylist Anne was super sweet and amazing! Third, the keratin treatment has lasted very well to this day. The whole process only took about 2—3 hours. Now over a month and a half later, my hair is still shiny and actually looks normal in humid weather. I love this treatment because unlike permanent straightening, it has a natural and gradual return to your normal hair so you don’t have an awkward growing out stage!

I have always said “you get what you pay for” when it comes to hair care and usually spend around $50 (¥5000) for a haircut. Sin Den, while a bit more than I would usually pay at ¥7500, has delivered nothing short of per fect haircuts and stylings every time I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. I believe the experience and expertise of the staff justify this higher than average price tag.
As a foreign resident of Japan, I’ve struggled to find a salon where I can communicate effectively with my stylist what I want and have them reciprocate accurately. With the staff at Sin Den, there is no worry about getting “lost in translation” and every request has been answered exactly.
In regards to expertise, my hair is naturally wavy and very thick. All my life I’ve had trouble finding a salon that could manage my troublesome hair and make it look presentable. Not only have the staff at Sin Den been able to make my hair look great at the salon, they were able to give me the advice I needed to recreate the style at home as well.
The customer service and customer care are top notch and has the same “omotenashi” one can expect from establishments in Japan. While the stylist ascertains what you require from the cut and styling, another staff member will bring you a beverage of your choice with a biscuit. They do not rush and will work with you until you are happy with the results. They are not, however, without suggestions and will give expert and honest feedback if requested.
I cannot praise this establishment enough and I would highly suggest anyone reading to give them a try. Shoutout especially to Anne who has been my stylist every time I’ve visited. … – show
