    JR原宿車站南側出口一出站就會看到一個氣勢恢宏的大鳥居,它就是明治神宮的第一鳥居. 在2022年7月4日正式使用的新鳥居是採用日本國產其樹齡250年以上吉野杉.明治神宮整個區域算是一個城市森林, 在繁華的原宿一帶卻有著茂密的樹林,中間道舖著石頭,行人都走在二側的水泥路上.
    一走進去就會看到立牌要求旅客要保持肅靜, 或者是不能夠邊走邊吃的立牌.身為一個有格調的旅客切記遵守當地人的傳統, 才不會丟了自己和國家的臉面. 第一鳥居的氣勢和前方大廣場合拍非常好看,算是很熱門的拍照景點.

    Meiji Jingu is one of the shinto shrines in Tokyo, with the vast land of the forest located in the middle of Tokyo.
    Once you step into this precinct, you will forget that you are in the hustle bustle city, and will find japanese traditional scene amidst greenery nature.
    Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line's busy Harajuku Station.

    Meiji Jingu is one of my favourite sites in Tokyo. This is the entrance (or exit) to a lush green space that, even when full of people, drowns out the city with nature.

    Well, what can I say, any tourists visiting Yoyogi Park via the Harajuku Station is bound to pass this famous arch and may stop to take photos. Well, it's no doubt that anyone with a smartphone will take that obligatory photo of the Meiji Jingu Arch, just like I did.

    The only thing is that I was not in the photo. But take note that during weekends, the place will be crowded with locals and tourists, so be prepared to have your photo bombed. Otherwise, come on a weekday.

    鳥居をくぐると、原宿の喧騒から雰囲気が一気に変わる。たまたま鳥居の工事をしている。車のナンバーが8888はたまたまかな？

    JR原宿駅西口を出てすぐ目の前、徒歩１分。

    ５年ぶりに参拝に来たら
    一の鳥居がなくなっていました。

    明治神宮内の鳥居は全て木造。

    今回は2022年１月～６月末まで取り替え工事とのことです。

    次回参拝時には
    新しい鳥居にお目見えできるかな
