The place itself is very bright and clean. Except for certain popular classes, there is a lot of space.
The gym has a main room that is used during classes and a smaller one with a ring and body training tools (weights etc…). There are two dressing rooms with showers, one for men and one for women, and toilets.
It is possible to buy drinks at vending machine if you forget yours. They also rent and sell some kickboxing gears i n case you don't have it yet or you forgot it at home.
As for the teachings, there are a lot of different classes that you can attend that will surely fit your needs: shapely kick is an aerobic class mainly for fitness, then you have the kickboxing classes themselves that are separated by level (beginner, medium, sparring…) as well as boxing, grappling, and body training classes, kids classes… (more may appear/disappear with time, check the site if you want to be sure).
The staff is always helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. While my japanese is so-so, they were always patient explaining things and it was never a problem. Some of the staff are english speakers as well (depending on when you come).
Most of the students are casuals but there are serious practitioners too. Whether you just want to exercise or want to hone your skills, this place should have you covered. Just give it a try and see if you like it! … – show
